A Work in Progress

Here's a quick glimpse of the timeline project that I'm working on to honor my mother. I have a great number of details to fill in and about 102 scanned photos to add, but I'd love to add any notes or stories that you care to share, so if you have anything that you think would add detail, color or just anecdotal fun to a document about Mom's life, please email it to me and I'll be sure to add it. If you can make sure the relevant date is included that would be even more helpful.

In Memoriam

As you may know, today is the one year anniversary of Mom's passing. I had planned to spend the day with dad to commemorate the sad occasion, but the Winter Storm has effectively conspired against us. I am hoping the ice and snow calm down this afternoon but as I look out the window at a foot of snow everywhere, it's unlikely, and yesterday's trek to his house proved a little dicey.

Instead, I am spending the day working further on Mom's timeline, scanning pictures and organizing text. I hope to have some to share in the coming days and perhaps a rough version of the full product in the weeks ahead. But regardless, she is in our thoughts and hearts and though I miss her dearly, I can hear her laugh as though she was here in the room with me.
